Scanning, scanning, watching, redirecting, scanning...always watching while trying to hold an adult conversation with a friend at a park or even just in the back yard. <br />But it goes by fast...so fast that I don't know when exactly it ended, in fact. And don't think I didn't wish the time away! I didn't like that phase one bit. And now...well, I'm sad it's over. Weird, huh? Don't get me wrong--I love going over to a friend's house and letting the girls scatter out back or downstairs or wherever for hours of uninterrupted mommy chat. But it's times like these...when I read a post like yours...that I realize that one day my girls will "launched" and out of my home. N...This is how I felt when we came home from China! Not only was I getting adjusted to a new child altogether but one that MOVED. She seems to always be trying to get upstairs, or downstairs, or into cabinets, or climb shelves, or pull out all the books (and rip pages), etc. etc. You know the drill!
